Sunday Service

Our Sunday service consists of a weekly Lesson-Sermon which is read from The Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The Bible readings for the sermon are from The King James Bible, while occasionally the responsive reading portion may be from other Bible translations. The same Lesson-Sermon is read in every Christian Science church around the globe. It is read by two lay readers, elected from the membership, who serve the congregation in this capacity. In addition to the Lesson-Sermon, there are hymns, a solo, and a joint repetition of the Lord's Prayer. See the sidebar for the current Lesson-Sermon subjects.

Wednesday Evening Meeting

The Wednesday evening meeting consists of a short sermon of selected readings from The King James Version of The Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. The selections for the Wednesday evening service are selected by the First Reader, and will vary with every church. Current subjects for this short sermon have included, "Brotherhood," "Health," "Handling Fear," and "The Economy." After the Lord's Prayer and a hymn, members of the congregation share testimonies of healings and blessings they have gained from their study and application of Christian Science.

Sunday School

We hold a Sunday school for young people up to the age of 20. Lessons include the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount (including the Beatitudes), and familiar Bible stories. Students will gain a familiarity with The Bible and with the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, and will learn how the lessons contained in these books can be applied to their everyday lives.
